Saturday 5th June is World Environment Day, which has been celebrated annually since 1974. Over the years, the day has focused on such issues as acid rain, oceans, water, and green cities.
World Environment Day is the UN's most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Over the last 17 years, it has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.
World Environment Day is also encouraging individuals into doing something personally to take care of the Earth. It doesn’t matter whether the effort is on a local level or whether it is a group effort nationally or even globally; everyone is free to choose.
Each World Environment Day is hosted by a different nation. The official celebrations take place this year in Pakistan with the host country helping by highlighting the environmental challenges it faces, and supports the effort to address them.
The annual initiative has led to millions of people globally participating in thousands of registered activities. Activists with any level of commitment are invited to sign up so they can be kept you updated on various activities.
World Environment Day has a new theme annually which focuses attention on a pressing environmental concern.
2021 is themed on Play a Game, Restore a Planet.
This year's inititiative is described on the website as being ambitious but possible. Imploring everyone to get involved. Will you take up the challenge?
A simple thing you can do to help the planet is to add more vegetarian or vegan meals to your diet. Or, join us next at our next Virtual Full Moon Guided Personal & Global Healing Meditation, when we work on the restoring the WoodWideWeb to it's original template.
We can also enhance our lives by choosing carefully resourced products, which have been created in an ecologically 'green' manner, thereby helping to live harmoniously with our environment.
Wikaniko was formed to assist everyone to gain a better understanding of the ‘green’ word. At Wikaniko, ‘green’ is not being rammed down your throat at every opportunity, just to scare you into buying something. Instead, through a process of education, the supply of information, and explanation, we hope to help you improve your outlook with regard to the environment. Here at Wikaniko we don't just make money. We make a difference. In the short time that we have been in business, our distributor team has already sold a couple of million pounds worth of product, etc.
Never doubt that a small group of committed people can take on the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has……

Taking care of our environment brings a tangible 'feelgood' factor, which is excellent for bringing harmony and wellbeing into our lives.
Harmony Healing activities are aimed at bringing harmony and wellbeing into your life. Within Surrey, via Harmony In Nature, we facilitate Forest bathing+ sessions to help adults reconnect with nature and reap the therapeutic benefits (see Forest Bathing+ section of this site on the purple navigation bar above for more about this concept and dates of our events).
Through Harmony Healing, Joanna offers a wider spectrum of events designed to nurture your welbeing. If you are looking for regular spiritually enlightening activities, we have our monthly Full Moon Guided Healing Meditations. The next one is on Wednesday 23rd June, at 7.30-9.30pm (UK time = GMT +1). Participants all receive a deeply healing experience. Cost to participate is £20 by online BACS payment (small admin fee added for PayPal) or half price to RSE graduates.
During these monthly session, we connect with other like-minded people and together we work through a mindful chakra balancing process using colours and etheric crystals, with the aim that all participants will experience a degree of unity consciousness. This activity serves as a good taster of my work in general and the virtual format of our Zoom based programme. And, most importantly, it's a step towards making a difference to the global predicament.
Two RSE 1 modules start in July/August month with Khemitology on Tuesdays 20th, 27th July and 3rd August and Essene Angelology on Tuesdays 10th & 17th August. The other two modules have just been run but can be completed with the next series.
If you would like to experience one of our spiritual offerings (meditation, reading, 1:1 healing, a Forest Bathing+ session or a full mentoring course), why not ask for a Harmony Healing gift voucher for a birthday or other celebratory occasion?
