  • Angels - not just for Christmas

This Guest Blog by Joanna Bristow-Watkins first appeared at Wonderful World of Wellbeing online.

Angel Gabriel by Richard Rockwood from Angela McGerrs Harmony Angel CardsThis morning, as the last lyrics of ‘Hark the Herald, Angels Sing’ faded away on my car radio, I was briefly transported back to 1998. I could hear my Reiki teacher recommending that I call in the Parking Angel should I need to a manifest a space in an overflowing car park. Frankly, at the time, I thought she‘d lost the plot; as surely angels were ‘just something for Christmas’.

Describing myself as spiritual rather than religious, I can appreciate the supportive role institutional religions can play in the community but personally I’ve never felt aligned with the strict doctrines to which some faiths expect believers to comply. So, on reflection, I wonder whether that was my initial resistance to involving angels in my life.

I’m embarrassed to admit, that at the time, I found the beaming, winged and chubby pre-Raphaelite image of Caucasian angels a little hard to take seriously other than as an adornment on the annual festive greeting cards.

My sister Angela McGerr was on the same 1998 Reiki Mastery course. Her attitude was markedly different to mine. She told me later her first reaction was not to ‘call in’ anything that she couldn’t fully understand. So, she decided to investigate them. And that’s exactly what she did, almost obsessively for the next 18 months. In fact, she later admitted that she suspects she was hi-jacked by the angels themselves to create a way of making angels accessible in today’s fast-paced society.

17 years later, in 2015, Angela’s 10th angel book was published, and with cumulative sales nearing one million copies, she was firmly established as a UK best seller in this niche market. She’s since retired from designing angel card sets and writing books but continues to be involved with all things angelic.

So how did she win me round? Initially my ‘interest’ was purely sisterly support of her growing fascination and success, and I was still lukewarm (to say the least) on a personal level. But over time, I came to appreciate the accuracy of her angel readings and their loving support in my life. Now they are an important feature of my mentoring programme and practitioner teaching courses.

The first step was to realise that angels have a much longer history of interaction with humanity than we might think, they certainly pre-date most of our contemporary organised religions.

    Angels in Contemporary Culture

Many people are familiar with the angels in the Christmas story, especially Gabriel, central to the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in the Christian faith. However, Gabriel also appears as an archangel in the Jewish faith, first described in the Hebrew Bible.

The traditional Shema prayer of the Jewish faith sites Gabriel as one of four archangels called on for protection through the night. A translation would be:

Michael to my right side, Gabriel to my left, Uriel before me, and Raphael to my back.”

Indeed, Muslims assert that the Quran was orally dictated by God to the final prophet, Muhammad, through the Angel Gabriel (known to them as Jibril). They believe this took place, in stages, over a period of some 23 years, commencing when Muhammad was 40, in month of Ramadan; and concluding in 632, the year of his death.

The Nativity is where many people of the Christian faith, whether Protestant, Catholic or other (or no faith!) will first be introduced to angels. Gabriel is one of the most sought-after parts in any school Nativity!

Returning to the aforementioned cherubic angel images, these are purely representations by the artists of the time so that they could tell a visual story, both in murals and fine examples such as the celebrated fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, Italy.

Where did that idea come from? And why are they so often blond and Caucasian in appearance?

Leaving aside the politics of the time, and possible colonial influence, these depictions were an attempt of the current popular culture to represent beings that are much, much older.

The concept of angels predates Christianity by more than four thousand years. Winged figures were depicted in the earliest recorded civilisation (Sumeria, circa 4000 BC) and Colonel Churchward reported the first glyph representations of angels as being even earlier, in Lemuria, though the existence of Lemuria is not universally accepted. It seem that the term angelology, stems from the Essenes, a healing sect living in the Dead Sea area contemporary with Jesus.

It may be that our conventional interpretation comes from our brain’s need to recognise what it is seeing as a familiar sight – a bright light surrounding a ‘floating and wraithlike being’ may well be interpreted as a halo and wings. Perhaps this even started with Mary herself, in her attempt to explain what would have been an almost impossible experience to relate to others.

Angel Raphael by Richard Rockwood from Angela McGerrs Harmony Angel CardsSo, what are angels?

My personal interpretation of angels is as ethereal light beings, a construct shared by many others including my sister Angela, who chose to represent angels in her Harmony Angel Cards and other richly illustrated publications (sadly mostly now out of print, though I still have some signed unused and pre-loved editions available at the Harmony Shop) as images blending the colours and talismans associated with each angel in folklore with the suggestion of feathered wings, rather than humanoid depictions.

That’s not to say that any other representations are of any less value – perhaps the angels themselves chose to represent themselves in a way that we humans could connect with, as one consensus that most people can agree on is that angels are benevolent and seek to help us.

On the whole, they are androgenous beings, though some carry more masculine or feminine traits than others. Did you know, that despite our traditional view, Gabriel may well represent more of a feminine energy than a masculine? Gabriel is in fact the Angelic Guardian of the moon and Mondays (the weekdays governed by the moon). In mythology, whereas the sun is depicted as masculine, the moon is viewed as a feminine energy.

    Calling on Angels

Perhaps this is a particularly good time of year to call on angels to assist you with finding peace, and with receiving and offering good will. Especially this year when everything is in turmoil and constant flux.

However, you can in fact call on angels to assist you at any time of year, provided it’s for the highest good and you are respectful and appreciative of their loving intent, hence not asking them for anything which would harm others.

To find out more about connecting with angels in your day-to-day life, you can join us for our New Year New Visionmentoring course (link to https://bit.ly/NewYearNewVision2021 ).

  • Anna Perenna, Thursday 15th March 2018

Thursday 15th March was the ancient celebration of Anna Perenna - Goddess of the Eternal Year in Roman tradition.  So that the circle could be completed, offerings were made to the Spirit of the Year.

According to Roman mythology, Anna Perenna was Dido's sister who, after Dido's suicide, was driven from Carthage to Latium. She was carried off by Numicus (the God of a stream) having incurred the wrath of Aeneas's wife in Latium. Aeneas's servants followed her tracks and discovered that she had metamorphosed into a water nymph.

Eid Mar coinIn Roman tradition, 15th March is also the Ides of March, as well as a Festival to Jupiter. Shakespeare had a soothsayer warn Julius Caesar 'Beware the Ides of March' and reputedly he was indeed assassinated on 15th March 44 BC.

The illustration to the right (from the Wikipedia page for the Ides of March) shows a commemorative coin from Autumn of 42 BC, issued by Caesar's assassin Brutus, depicting the abbreviation EID MAR (Ides of March) under a Cap of Freedom between two daggers.

  • Egyptian Burning of the Lamps ceremony, 20th June 2018

Isis (Auset) ImageWednesday 20th June is the Egyptian Festival of the Burning of the Lamps which was held at Sais.

This is the third great festival in Sais to Aset (Isis). In an under-chapel beneath the temple, lamps were carried in procession around the coffin of Asar (Osiris).

It was by the power of light, symbolising the life-giving power of the Moon, that Aset rekindled life in her dead husband.

  • Festival of the Three Marys, 24th May 2018

Thursday 24th May is the Romani and Christian Festival of the Three Marys at Sainte-Maries-de-la-Mar, on the south coast of France.  Here landed Mary Magdalene, Mary Jacob (the sister of Mother Mary known in the Catholic faith as Our Lady) and Mary Salome (mother of James and John). A local Chieftain, Sara the Kali, had a vision of their arrival and by spreading her cloak over the rough sea ensured their safe arrival.

map of the camargueSaine-Maries-de-la-Mar (Saint Marys of the Sea) is the capital of the Camargue (Provençal Occitan  Camarga) in the south of France. Interestingly, it is noted on the Wikipedia page, from where this map was taken [courtesy of ChrisO (Public domain), via Wikimedia Commons], that the village was noted as "Ra" in the 4th century AD by the Roman geographer Rufus Festus Avienus. Ra being the Ancient Egyptian Deity also known as the Sun God, this could reinforce the idea that Mary Magdalene was actually of Egyptian origin (possibly from the southern area of Nubia, where the native people are very dark skinned) and could also have been the revered Black Madonna.

  • Friday 23rd April - St George's Day & Shakespeare's Birthday

220px Flag of England.svgFriday 23rd April is St George’s Day in England, celebrating St George, England's patron saint. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23rd, is seen as England's national day.

According to legend, he was a soldier in the Roman army who killed a dragon and saved a princess.  The flag of England is the red Cross of St. George, and this is widely displayed as a symbol of national identity.

Surprisingly, 23rd April is not a Bank Holiday.

William ShakepeareWilliam Shakespeare - long revered as Britain's, if not the world's, best known author and playwright, also died on 23rd April, but in 1616, in Stratford-upon-Avon, making this the 405th Anniversary.

He was Baptised in Stratford on the 26th April 1564 and his birth date is not known but it is traditionally observed on 23rd April, Saint George's Day, indicating that he would have died on his birthday.

This date, which can be traced back to an 18th-century scholar's mistake, has proved appealing to biographers, it being considered somewhat poetic that he died on his 42nd birthday.

Shakespeare has 37 plays and 154 sonnets credited to him, but we don't really know whether he actually wrote them, or was just a merchant, land owner and occasional actor who either brokered the plays or was prepared to be acknowledged as the author to protect anonymity of those truly responsible.

Certainly writing plays could be dangerous as any plot seen to reflect a political plot not appreciated by the Queen/King could be interpreted as treason.

Many scholars argue, quite reasonably, that proof of Shakespeare’s authorship is largely circumstantial and sketchy at best; certainly he was better known in Stratford as a businessman [one documented view is that he brokered the plays] and not a playwright.

Celebratiing national and cultural heroes is a great way of uniting communities, bringing harmony into their lives.

  • Friday 25th/Saturday 26th December, Christmas Day & Boxing Day in the Christian calendar

Festive Season 2020Friday 25th December is the Christian Festival of Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

This is also Zartosht-no Diso in the Fasli Zoroastrian Calendar, commemorating the anniversary of the death of the prophet Zarathustra.

Saturday 26th December is St Stephen’s Day in the Christian Calendar. This day is also known as Boxing Day because servants and tradesmen would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses or employers.

Happy Festive season to all the Harmony Healing subscribers.

Celebrating traditional festivals like Christmas, enables Christian communities to come together and bring balance and harmony into their lives. This will certainly have been the most bizarre Christmas celebration in my lifetime with one third of the UK (myself included) being unable to celebrate with all of my family.

  • Monday 1st July, Zoroastrian Rain Festival of Tir Jashan

Rainbow bracelet from Eclectic Shop UK HoveMonday 1st July, in Fasli tradition, is the Zoroastrian Rain Festival of Tir Jashan, dedicated to the star deities of Tir and Teshar.  Give bracelets made of the seven colours of the rainbow (usually silks).  At the end of the festival go to a high place and throw them into the wind.  It's also traditional to dance, make merry and splash each other with water.  This festival is devoted to the divinity Tir and is associated with the dog-star Sirius and the coming of the rains in Iran and the fertility they bring.

As the Festival is actually on the 13th of Tir, some Zorastrian traditions convert this to 4th July.

Interestingly, yesterday, here in the UK, it was the end of Pride month which is traditionally celebrated with any rainbow adornments. The rainbow bracelet shown here (actually it's nylon not silk, but you get the idea) is shown with permission from Eclectic Shop UK in Hove, who sell them for £1.95 each.

  • Monday 31st August, Summer Bank Holiday in the UK

Nottighill Carnival image by Richard Mcall from PixabayMonday 31st August is Summer Bank Holiday in the UK. It falls on the final Monday of August.

In the United Kingdom, most workers have a day off work or school and the banks are closed. The Bank Holidays Act of 1871 introduced the August Bank Holiday to give bank clerks and shop people a day of relaxation not connected to holy days such as Christmas. This has morphed into a three-day weekend before the school summer holidays finish.

This year, for many workers who haven't returned to their usual routine since lockdown, it will probably feel the same as every other day!

In Scotland, the Summer Bank Holiday is the first Monday in August and, originally, this was the case for the whole UK. However, in 1971, after a five-year trial period, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland it was permanently moved to the final Monday of August.

Normally, the Summer Bank Holiday would be marked by the Notting Hill Carnival, held in the Ladbroke Grove area of London. Last year it was over my birthday weekend and there were 2.5 million attendees, 40,000 volunteers and 9,000 police on duty. It's the largest street festival in Europe, and the second-biggest street carnival on the planet!

Notting Hill Carnival was founded by London’s Caribbean community in 1964 to celebrate Caribbean culture, and has maintained a Caribbean flavour. This year it is cancelled for the first time, but typically there would be numerous fun and entertaining activities and a grand parade with amazingly colourful costumes.  Notting Hill Carnival image is by Richard Mcall from Pixabay.

Generally, Bank Holidays allow families to spend time together, helping to bring balance and wellbeing into people's lives. This year there may have to be small or even virtual gatherings online, but getting together with friends and family can still be therapeutic.

Harmony Healing utilises the philosophies of the Ancient Egyptians to bring balance and harmony. The next virtual healing circle is 7.30-9.30pm (UK time),2nd September.

Two  course modules are starting again early September; Chakra Balancing and Unity Consciousness starts tomorrow, 1st September, 10am-12.15 for 3 consecutive Tuesdays (6¾-hours in total) and An introduction to Essene Angelogy starts Wednesday 2nd September, 10am-12.15 for 3 consecutive Wednesdays (4½ hours in total). Both are interactive training modules tutored via Zoom worth ½ unit each towards Reyad Sekh Em (RSE) Egyptian Alchemy Healing Level 1 details on Harmony Healing Virtual Events. Currently, due to Coronavirus, most events will be virtual hence distant readings and healings are proving popular. • Monday 31st May, Spring Bank Holiday in the UK

    May Day Bank Holida

Monday 31st May is spring - or late May - bank holiday in the UK. It falls on the last Monday of May but it used to be on the Monday after Pentecost.

In the United Kingdom, people traditionally have a day off work or school and the banks are closed. As we creep back from lockdown status, we may not notice a Bank Holiday as much as usual!

If you have children, weather permitting (avoid woodland locations in heavy winds), it's a great day to take them out on a nature trail at a local park, beauty spot, National Trust or woodland location.

In the last 30 years, evidence originally collected from Japan but with more and more global corroboration, has shown that spending time in nature, mindfully, and engaging the senses, has a measurable therapeutic affect (see the Forest Bathing+ section of this site on the purple navigation bar above for more about this concept and Surrey events we are offering for adults). As qualified Forest Bathing+ Guides, we are able to offer some suggestions on how to engage children with nature in a fun way that will also benefit their health and wellbeing.

To appreciate the complete healing experience of nature, you will be encouraging them to stay still in places. Make sure you have lots of spare layers to keep them warm, and maybe pack a flask of hot drink. Don’t be put off if the weather isn't sunny, pack some waterproof trousers and take a waterproof picnic rug for sitting on the ground, plus some spare dry socks. You'll need some water too and I recommend a wet flannel in an old sandwich box, great for dirty hands later!

Instilling respect and care for nature means we need to take thoughtful actions for the environment such as leaving things as we find them and always taking any litter home with you.

Once you've persuaded your kids into their decent walking shoes, or even wellies, here are some ideas from our forest bathing practice to help you turn the experience into more than just a pleasant walk in the woods. Of course, these can work for adults too...

Start by turning off all electronic devices!  Yes, I know, a big ask in today's society, but essential if you really want to observe the minutiae of what is going on around you.

Try to move slowly through the forest, so you don't miss anything, really encourage the children to concentrate and notice the details around them.

HE 30th May 2021Find somewhere to base yourselves for a while, put down your picnic mat or take some fold up chairs with you. Take some nice deep breaths, extending your outbreath to match or even exceed the inbreath; this helps your body relax. This is especially helpful of they are somewhat boisterous, but they still need extra calming, you can spend a few minutes getting them to tense, for a count of three, and relax each part of their body. Start with the feet, ankles and knees, moving up upwards (tensing the buttocks always guarantees a giggle or two), through the chest, shoulders, arms and fists, and ending with the face. Smiling as strong as you can and then releasing the mouth and ending by scrunching their eyes tight shut and then opening them again.

Engage the children by focussing on the senses.  What can you see, hear, smell, touch?

Things to see, hear & touch

Look out for woodland wildlife. If you have competitive children, you can keep a score of what you see - 5 points for animals such as squirrels and birds, 10 for deer, 1 for insects, such as beetles, bugs, woodlice and butterflies.

Watch a particular spot for a few minutes and see how much movement is taking place even on a calm day with minimal wind. Can you identify the sounds that accompany the movement?

Untitled designLook at the many different shades of green, how many can you spot?

Notice the many varied textures around you. You can encourage the children to touch mosses and bark, but make sure they wipe their hands afterwards (hence the flannel). The image on the left shows Joanna and Katie (who together run Harmony In Nature) examining the texture of tree mosses and lichens at Newlands Corner, Guildford.

Here in the UK, May has been so wet and cold that the bluebells, which are usually pretty much gone by now, are still around in some spots. These have a lovely fragrance.  Image above right, taken yesterday, shows bluebells at Harry Edwards, Shere.

You can suggest they imagine what it is like to be a tree, with their roots firmly planted in the ground and unable to run around.

It can be fun to make a game of familiarising ourselves with different tree species, teaching your children how to identify oak leaves and the wide canopy and stately trunk of most English Oaks and to spot the pale bark of the silver birch, and the distinctive leaves of the sycamore and chestnuts. You can revisit this activity later in the year when the acorns, twizzling sycamore seeds, conkers and sweet chestnuts are more apparent.

Persevere for as long as you feel comfortable and are enjoying the activities. Whilst an adult session should last two to three hours for maximum wellbeing benefit, for children that might be too long. Aim for twenty minutes to an hour depending on your children's age and their concentration span.

Fun family activities, especially in the tranquil setting of nature, can be really beneficial for your health and wellbeing.

For adults wanting to attend one of our formal Forest Bathing+ sessions, we have some availability left on our June & July 3-hour Forest Bathing+ Sessions at Harry Edwards (11am - 2pm, cost per person £38.32, Saturday 19th June or Sunday 18th July), Newlands Corner (10.30am -1.30pm, £38.32, Monday 7th June, Tuesday 22nd June, Thursday 8th July and Thursday 22nd July) and an exclusive out of hours event at Winkworth Arboretum National Trust (06.30-09.30am, £49.20, Tuesday 6th July).

Contact Joanna for details, costs and availability or if you would like to consider offering bespoke nature and woodland connection events at your venue or on your private land.

  • Monday 6th September, Labor Day in USA and Canada

06 Sep Labor DayMonday 6th September is Labor Day in USA and Canada this year, as it's always the first Monday in September comprising the final day of the long weekend known as Labor Day Weekend. As it's predominantly an American celebation, I've reluctantly used the American spelling of labour!

A federal holiday in the United States, Labor Day honours and recognises the American labour movement and the contributions of labourers to the achievements of the United States.

The trade union and labour movements grew steadily from the beginning of the 19th Century until trade unionists proposed that a day be set aside to celebrate labourers. Oregon, in 1887, was the first US state to make it an official public holiday. Thirty states in the United States had officially celebrated Labor Day by the time it became an official federal holiday in 1894.

Canada's Labour Day is also celebrated on the first Monday of September. International Workers Day is celebrated in more than 80 countries on 1st May, the ancient European holiday of May Day.

By keeping traditions and celebrating national festivals, as well as starting new initiatives, communities retain a sense of harmony and connection, thereby bringing balance and wellbeing into their lives.

  • Saturday 3rd October, Jewish Festival of Sukkot

Saturday 3rd October* is also the start of Sukkot, the Jewish feast of the Tabernacles, it celebrates the harvest and the preservation of the Israelites in the wilderness and occurs on the 15th day of the month of Tishri. The holiday lasts a week, with the first and last days being public holidays in Israel.

Sukkot commemorates the many years that the Jews spent in the desert after the exodus from Egypt and before reaching the Promised Land. The festival specifically gives thanks for the protection, received from their God, whilst in the desert.

The Hebrew word sukkot translates as huts or booths.  Hence, Jewish families may celebrate the festival by building a hut and living in it during the holiday. This hut should have a roof of leaves and bran, and from inside the sky should be visible, so they tend to be temporary and generally quite flimsy.

During Sukkot, a ritual may be observed by taking four different types of plant: a palm branch, an etrog ( citrus fruit), a willow and a myrtle branch and wave them about in celebration.

*Like other Jewish holidays, Sukkot begins at sundown of the night beforehand. Thus all holiday observances begin at nghtfall and this festival ends at nightfall on Friday 9th October. Resource: officeholidays.com.

  • Sunday 14th February, Valentine's Day

valentine heartFriday 14th February - is Valentine's Day and is all about love and compassion, which includes Universal Love for all other living things and also Self-love which is so often overlooked.

Some bitterly refer to it as Singles Awareness Day and blame card manufacturers and our materialistic society for love being ritualistically forced upon us every year at this time. However, although it may have the fee of a mordern folk tradition, the first Valentine's Day was celebrated in AD 496 and it's celebtated in a number of other countries as well as the UK.

However, although the story of 'Saint' Valentine long precedes Hallmark et al, the origins are somewhat blurred as there are historical references to the existence of several different Valentines. Folklore indicates that Valentine was a priest during the third century in Rome. Emperor Claudius II outlawed marriage as he believed that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families. Valentine, however, defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages in secret. Claudius found out and Valentine was imprisoned, where one version of the legend indicates he befriended a jailer with a blind daughter and he may have somehow managed to restore her sight, resulting in the jailer converting to Christianity. Claudius ordered that Valentine be executed on February 14th and allegedly before his death sentence was carried out, he sent a note to the jailer's daughter and signed it, "From Your Valentine." Hence Valentine's Day is celebrated in his memory.

However, his death day and his association with lovers and notes may have been convenient for Roman Christians looking for ways to blend existing Pagan/Roman celebrations into their Calendar. Many believe it replaced Lupercalia (15th February); a pre-existing Roman Festival where men dressed up as wolves and roamed the streets looking for partners.  More on this tomorrow...

I would be delighted if you choose to share this blog with others who might enjoy it, you can use the social media share buttons at the top.

Aligning ourselves with other members of the community through mutual celebration is very therapeutic and is excellent for bringing harmony and wellbeing into our lives.

  • Sunday 14th March, Mothering Sunday in UK

Mothers Day 14thSunday 14th March is Mothering Sunday in  the UK, now viewed as a chance to recognise  the positive role of mothers in our lives. Often posies of daffodils are presented.

Mothering Sunday is celebrated by Christians  in the UK & Ireland and some other English speaking countries. It takes place on the fourth Sunday in Lent, which is exactly three weeks before Easter Day. It was once observed as a day when people visited their mother church, but has become a day for honouring mothers and exchanging presents with them. Increasingly it's being referred to as Mother's Day, although that name originated as an American secular holiday, celebrated on a different date and quite distinct from the initial UK based Mothering Sunday.

By keeping traditions, communities retained a sense of harmony and connection, thereby bringing balance and wellbeing into their lives.

We have two new interactive mentoring courses series starting this month.  The Mindful Chakra Balancing & Unity Consciousness on Thursday evenings, starting 11th March (late starters accommodated) and Essene Angelology on Tuesday evenings which is detailed above. These modules are £66 each.

If you are looking for spiritually enlightening activities during lockdown, which help to connect you with the lunar cycle, we have the next virtual healing circle later this month  on Sunday 28th March, at 7.30-9.30pm (UK time = GMT), and costs £20 (+ £2 Paypal fee). • Sunday 20th June, Egyptian Burning of the Lamps ceremony

Egyptian oil lamp burning with Violet Flame by Ella TrittonSunday 20th June is the Egyptian Festival of the Burning of the Lamps which was held at Sais.

Image of an Egyptian oil lamp, by Ella Tritton, is based on a 3,000 year old oil lamp artifact we found catalogued online, but we have it burning with violet flame. The Ancient Egyptians were reputed to have technology which enabled them to create lamps which burnt with eternal flame.

The exact date of the Festival of the Burning of the Lamps is actually the 13th day of the Ancient Egyptian month of Epeiph, so confusion arises when trying to convert this to our Gregorian calendar and some sources give variations especially 21st June.

Wonderful and informative laminated posters, by the talented Jacqui Taliesin El Masry (Alkhemi.co.uk) featuring Aset (Isis) and other Egyptian Deities, are available from us. See our Egyptian Deity Poster page under Harmony Shop.

By keeping traditions, Khemitian (Ancient Egyptian) communities retain a sense of harmony and connection, thereby bringing balance and wellbeing into their lives.

If you are interested in Ancient Egypt, Joanna Bristow-Watkins (Harmony Healing) is a Reyad Sekh Em® Egyptian Alchemy Healer and Teaching Mentor. Developed by Joanna, Reyad Sekh Em® is an ultra high vibration healing system combining ancient Egyptian philosophies, alchemy, angelic elemental healing rays, sound vibration, sacred breathing and etheric crystalline energies. Two RSE 1 modules start in July/August month with Khemitology (the study of Egyptology according to the local oral traditions) on Tuesdays 20th, 27th July and 3rd August and Essene Angelology on Tuesdays 10th & 17th August. The other two modules have recently completed but can be studied with the next series.
